"I am so grateful to have experienced my first internship with NMSHSA. I would not have it any other way! During my journey with NMSHSA, I was able to network with many amazing people that believe in the power of striving for a better education and future for migrant children. I was also given the opportunity to speak on behalf of our agriculture community and gained a lot of advocacy knowledge. One of the greatest things of my experience with NMSHSA was the confidence and courage I was able to gain that has helped me in my everyday life. I am proud of where I came from and continue to keep my background as my motivation."
