Farm and Food Workers Relief Grant Program Update

Washington DC – After two years of working with 15 different organizations to distribute approximately $650 million, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is now in the latter stages of the Farm and Food Worker Relief (FFWR) Grant Program.

To date, the National Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Association (NMSHSA) and its 24 MSHS grantees and delegates have reached 78,000 FFWR registrations nationwide, paid over 74,000 farmworkers, and distributed over $45 million to farmworker families.

Although the FFWR program has started to wind down, funds are still available for eligible people who are yet to be reached. The NMSHSA Team is dedicated to fulfilling its commitment to the program and will continue directly registering and making payments.

Farmworkers anticipating relief payments are encouraged to contact the official NMSHSA FFWR email for more information. To stay up to date with NMSHSA and the Farm and Food Workers Relief Grant Program, please visit our website or connect with us on social media.
